Pre - Primary School

The school has two environments (classroom).
One for the 3 -6 year olds (Pre-Primary) and one for the 6 – 12 years old (Elementary).
The pre-primary would work for 10 weeks and break for 12 days.

Pre-Primary
The first day of school the new children are in school only for an hour. Their timing slowly increases till 12.30 p.m.

Exercise of practical life
Practical life enhances the development of task organization and cognitive order through care of self (putting on their dress, combing their hair, etc), care of the environment(dusting, mopping, etc),

exercises of grace and courtesy (to greet people, etc), and coordination of physical movement (to handle different materials). These are simple activities performed daily which man carries out in his environment in order to maintain & restore proper condition.

Sensorial
The sensorial area enables the child to order, classify, and describe sensory impressions in relation to length, width, temperature, mass, color, pitch, etc. These are activities done to refine their senses using the scientific didactic materials.

Arithmetic
Mathematics makes use of manipulative materials to enable the child to internalize concepts of number, symbol, sequence, the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division), and memorization of basic facts.

Language
Language arts include oral language development, written expression, reading, and the study of grammar, creative dramatics, and children’s literature. Basic skills in writing and reading, study of grammar, of sandpaper letters, alphabet cut-outs, and various presentations allowing children to link sounds and letter symbols effortlessly and to express their thoughts through writing.
Children learn through phonetic method. They are helped to identify the different sounds in a word and then they are shown the symbols for the sounds using Sandpaper letters. Then they use the cut-out letters and then they start writing and then they start reading.

Culture
Cultural activities expose the child to basics in geography, history, and life sciences. Music, art, and movement education are part of the integrated cultural curriculum.
